Why do you think God communicated with us?

Why did God give us the Bible?

A. Central Message

  1. God loves us. – John 3:16
  2. He reached out to us through Jesus. v-17
  3. He wants a relationship with us. Acts 17:24-28

B. God gave us His Word as a complete guide for our life. 2 Tim 3:16-17

C. God loves us enough to speak the truth to us. Heb 4:12

D. We must be careful to not let anything supersede God’s Word or confuse its clear message.

  1. It was written just like God wanted. 2 Peter 1:19-21
  2. It was not written just so we could intellectually believe. John 8:31-32
  3. Am I willing to compare all of my beliefs to the Bible? Mark 7:1-9
